Volunteer with Us
We want you to be a part of the Nomad community! One of the best ways you can join our community is by building relationships. Sitting with people, hearing their stories, offering prayer, and sharing the gospel is what we do. Your love, joy and compassion are exactly what we are looking for, and the Outpost is designed to facilitate these life-changing, Christ-centered conversations.
You’re invited to come down and share what you love with our community. Whether it’s crafts, playing games, cutting hair, helping people complete paperwork, or even providing a meal, we want you to be able to walk in your giftings as you pour into the lives of the people we serve. This can be weekly, bi-monthly or monthly!
We also need volunteers at the Outpost who can help with daily cleaning and organizing. This includes organizing donations (like clothing and food items), cleaning our community room and bathrooms, and making coffee.
Another way you can serve is by preparing “Go Bags” for our community. These bags typically consist of simple food items, hygiene products, socks, etc. We love to have these bags available on a regular basis and often use them in our weekly outreach efforts. Go Bags can be made and dropped off with us as often as you’d like.
